The Panama Canal Authority has published an RFQ for a market study “Incentives for Forest Protection & Monitoring in the Eastern Region of the Panama Canal Watershed” 🌳
Activities to be conducted are the selection of beneficiaries, verification of the legal status of the properties; measurement and georeferencing of forest polygons, characterization of forest cover, marking of the forest perimeter, installation of signs, training sessions, and submission of reports.
Minimum Experience for Potential Bidders
Bidders must demonstrate they have at minimum experience in surveying and/or georeferencing forests or any other vegetation cover (scrubland, stubble fields, riparian forests, or agroforestry plantations) as well as experience in preparing technical reports characterizing or describing forests or any other vegetation cover (shrublands, stubble fields, riparian forests, or agroforestry plantations).
