Swedish SKF to Open Regional Distribution Center in Panama

Swedish multinational SKF Group 🇸🇪 will open a regional distribution centre in Panama to meet operational demand across Central America, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador & Peru 🌎.

Panama’s Ambassador to Sweden, Natalia Royo, said the implementation schedule envisages the company beginning commercial operations in approximately 17 months.

During that time, SKF will renovate the premises designated for its storage and technical dispatch operations.

Recognized globally as an engineering leader, SKF specializes in versatile bearings built for high-speed applications and capable of handling mechanical stresses, including radial loads and axial loads in both directions.

Internationally, the firm operates in 130 countries and maintains a workforce of nearly 37,000 employees.

The expansion will both strengthen Panama’s role as a regional logistics hub and as a key link in SKF’s international supply chain.
