KLM to Increase Flights between Panama & Amsterdam to 10 Weekly

  • News

Air France-KLM is strengthening its operations in Panama. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will increase its weekly flights from 7 to 10, while Air France will continue operating five flights per week from/to Paris. This brings the group’s total to 15 direct weekly flights between Panama and Europe.

This was announced by Noud Duyzings, Senior Vice President for Europe & Latin America, during his visit to Panama two weeks ago, highlighting the country’s strategic value for the group.

Passenger Growth

The additional flights are driven by steady passenger growth of 3–4% per year and strong demand from both business and leisure travelers, especially during peak months like January and February.

“Latin America, with its 450 million inhabitants, has great potential. Panama is crucial for us because of its connectivity and stable business environment. We will continue investing here,” stated Duyzings in an interview with La Prensa.
