Panama Transportation Company MiBus 🚌 has launched a tender for the purchase of up to 60 modern medium-sized buses (9-10 meters long), with an estimated investment of $9.6 million USD.
The initiative is designed to improve accessibility, comfort and efficiency on routes with lighter demand and streets less suited to larger buses. The new vehicles will be equipped with Euro V diesel engines, aligning with global standards on emission reduction 🌱 — an area of growing interest for European transport suppliers and manufacturers.

According to MiBus, tender 2025-2-81-01-08-LP-000014 is available via the Panama Compra portal 💻. A virtual pre-bid meeting will be held on September 18, 2025, with proposals due by October 20, 2025.
